Not a scam, I called the nab number on their website just to check and they confirmed this is legitimate. Called the number back and they said they are a remediation team and I got a refund for some over charged account fees or something .

I was left a VM by 1800 370 777 saying "Hi [my name], This is [?Mackle] from NAB. You have been ID'd for a refund due to an error on our end. Please call 1800 370 777 and when you call quote reference no.33735617-2-08072-2.".

I called back the 1800 no. From another phone. It was NAB and the message said to call back between 10am-5pm (I called out of hours). I also called back the no. That the call was placed from - (03) 7003 5094 - and the message I got was "Thank you for calling customer support. We have tried to contact you without success. Our hours are 10am-5pm. Please call us back at your earliest convenience. Thank you." It was an American accent and sounded like a robot/recorded message. A family member called NAB and queried it and NAB confirmed they think it is a scam.
