F you get a message saying, "A new device has been added to your passkey. If this wasn’t you, call +61 3 7037 1090," don’t call or share any details.
Like others received a spoofed SMS pretending to be Binance advising that they had received a request to unbind my 2FA and if it wasn't me to call 1800328160. Followed up by an SMS a few days later advising that a new device in Beijing China had been registered on my account and that if it wasn't me to ring +61 3 7037 1090.
I received a similar SMS from "Binance" on Sat,11 Jan'25 and I have called the number. The conversation seemed legit as I have turned on another device with a 2FA earlier during the day. I was transferred to one of their "expert security specialists" for further analysis. However, when they can't confirm my account detail, wanted to block my account, can not email me confirmation of their call reference, advise me not to move the 'funds' I started to get suspicious and terminated the call.
