Thank god I didn't have the financial capacity to pay for his bull**** scam. I was absolutely convinced, acted very professional, gave him my name and phone number but thats it, doubt that they can do much with that. Convened with my parents and they rightfully reprimanded me for falling for this stuff. I doubt that they could access much, since they wouldn't have to go through all that trouble for diagnosing and showing me the mistakes even though they can straight up hack it. Laptop is very old but might as well get it checked just to be sure. This is a scam, do not fall for it.

A curry munching scammer that attempts to lock your browser under the threat that if you attempt to restart your computer it may cause permanent hard drive damage (a load of rubbish) He will seek remote access to your PC and attempt to receive payment for 'fixing' your PC.... Which he was responsible for.

Don't phone him and get sucked in.

This number was used by scammers claiming falsely to be from a tech support company associated with Apple. They convinced my husband to give them access to our home computer and kept talking him out of ringing me to discuss it. He said they sounded very professional (of course they did) so he went along with everything they told him to do. Do not call this number if you get a message saying that someone is trying to hack your phone/computer. There is - them.
