I was browsing NineMSN and clicked on an article and all of a sudden an American voice came up and said 'you have a security risk on your computer' - I didn't ring the number as I know I'm protected - my IT guys logged in and closed my browser and that was that..
If you call that number, they'll no doubt ask you to remote them in so they have access to your PC.. DON'T DO IT..
Bring up the Task Manager (Control/Alt/Delete) and right click to end your session/s.

My mouse. Went funny about 30 mins before this hapened to me... Its like someone. Was trying click the the start button from. Remote network. I actually called the number, knowing it was dodgey bit I was curious... I blocked.my number and an indian woman answered. She asked me. To click the start bitton I did and then the line went silent. I hung up and turned my pc off. As I turned it off it started doing an update so I forced a shutdown, restarted in safe mode which reversed the update process. Everytbibg seems back to normal now. I don't use this pc for banking or personal stuff so im not too concerned but I think it might be time. To upgrade my security.
