Text message received from alleged PayPal regarding disputed transaction. On call back spoke to various Indian operators (kept ringing them and wasting their time) ;) . Operator kept asking for personal details such as email, name, phone number etc. Scam! Phishing for identification information. Don't give them anything, just ring the number and have some fun lol :).

It seems they have been having a busy day looking at the others who have received similar message today.
Yep, same thing... Scam.
Rang the number then asked them to wait while I found my email address... They stayed on the line for about 10 minutes before hanging up, so hopefully the line was engaged for at least one other person who might have been tricked :).

Haven't used my Pay Pal acct in a while so was suspicious.
Got a call from this number and tricked by giving my email address. Then he said you will get a code give it to me. I did . He said he is from PayPal, blah blah and his name is Dave Patterson. Indian fkkkerr..He said he will call me in few days.10 mins later I got a message from PayPal saying I changed my password. The scammer did. So I had to quickly change my password again.
Scam. PayPal never ask you to call them directly.

They just want to grab your card details saying we need to cancel the payment. Pure Scam.

message from (+61)459848475 saying I had paid PayPal an amount of $1499 today and to ring this number 1800022791. Both numbers I assume are scam.

Scam text saying I owed $1499.99 for an E-Card.
Call this number to dispute.
As all the others, just received a text message letting me know I had spent $1499 on a Ecard.
I also just received the text message for $1499.99 for an E-card.
I just received an SMS which is identical to others listed here - indicating that I have just paid $1499.99 for an E card thru PayPal. This number was provided if I wanted to dispute the transaction.
Definitely a scam!

Call the number and is a Indian guy pick up and want your details and I ask him where did he from he said from PayPal then I hang up.
