Received a letter from St Georges bank with this number to contact. Thought it was a scam as I don't even have an account with them. The letter stated that my imaginary account was overdrawn. I did start an account application with them about an year ago but never completed it. Called them up from their website number to double check and they closed my non existent account. Just harassment BS on the banks behalf. Will never recommend anyone banks with these clowns.

Received a spam snail mail letter purportedly from St. George Bank advising that my account with them was overdrawn by a small amount. I have never had an account with that bank. The phone number given to discuss this with the bank was 1300 664 597. Upon calling, the line immediately went through to a real person. (Not, as would be expected, a lengthy process of pressing the right numbers to get through to a particular area.) The person answering immediately wanted my name, which I gave, then my date of birth, at which point I smelled a rat and hung up. This appears to be an attempt at identity theft.
