I was scammed today. Thought it was the NAB. They asked for my bank ID no. Not my acc no or password. They then sent me a security code for me to verify my account which I thought was legit. They then told me I had been scammed for $778 by Jimma in Perth. I got suspicious and rang my bank and was told that money had been taken out already.

If this happens to you… please ring your bank. Don’t fall for this scam.

Received the SMS from ANZ bank (I do not have any accounts with ANZ), suggesting to call this number because the transaction of $870 to LTS was paused to verify if it was me. Quite sure it is a scam.
