This phone number (1300 083 414 or (02) 4445 8985) is legitimately tied to CBA’s card fraud prevention system. After my credit card transaction was declined repeatedly, I received a valid SMS advising me to call this number. To confirm, I contacted CBA's official support line and verified that this is indeed a legitimate number for reporting card fraud.

This number could be attempting phishing. While it may appear legitimate, I checked with the Commonwealth Bank and confirmed that this is not an official number for security issues.

I received an email from 'CommBank' askimg me to call this number because of suspicious card activity. Very suspicious, upon reading the email again, it has missing period and saying that it would ask abput card details to verify was a dead giveaway.

This number I called it as it was a message from comm bank, now it stated in the alert that I have suspicious activity on my account, so when I dialled to speak to someone it basically asked me to veryify my card number, I declined it normally a bank would ask you for customer number and then phone password to input,

I believe it is a scam number as I do not have any suspicious activity.
