What Our Users Reviewed
No worries here, mates! This call was actually from the QBE Remediation department. I almost misjudged it as a scam because of the number. Glad I sorted it out!
Same as others have mentioned, claiming to be QBE and/or Auspost Insurance. Be very careful with this scam. They look and sound very legit and are also using 02 area code numbers as well as the one above to contact you. When you call back the number is labelled as 'number has been disconnected'. If you call back on the 1300 number they ask you to confirm all your details (which they already have!!??) with one person, then you are put through to thier 'Remediation Team' where a guy had no idea who he was speaking to and quoted me wrong names, wrong account number etc. He was very incompetent and unprofessional. Told him it was all a scam any promptly hung up on him. Haven't heard from them since..!
