Same experience here about the scam just now. Got a legitimate invoice from PayPal for $392. I intentionally called the number and it was picked up by someone whose intonation sounds African (btw I am an African too so I know). He immediately hung up when I kept silent after his first words. He then bombarded me with two other emails back-to-back concerning same invoices. Please mark the emails as spams. And block sender.
Scam looking to get bank details to refund you for a fake invoice.
Recieved an email request from PayPal saying a bill was due asking for 330 USD. Because the email came from PayPal and is legitimate some people may be tricked into paying without thought. I reported the invoice to PayPal. The company was possibly based in the US but the phone number given was definitely australian.
Do not pay the invoice!
