Cunning bunch here, they've actually got an old Australian Border Force landline number and can show you the ABF website and number for Geraldton office WA. Tried to tell me I'm responsible for the import of Meth (to WA). Told them to give me a reference number and that I'd call back immediately. They said they'd have to report me to the authorities as soon as I hung up. I said I was fine with that and rang their number. Obviously no one picked up.
It claimed that it was from the Australian Border Force and was actually a scam! Don't trust it!
Rang me 3 times and left empty voice messages. I picked up the next time and I can just hear background noise for a couple seconds and they hang up.
I received 3 calls from this number continuously. I called back and it was directed to Australian Border Force Geraldton. The guy on the phone said this number has been misused for scam, and suggested to me to block the number.
