    Got a call from this number offering me some to switch gas provider. I told him that I am not interested as I am already with Kleenheat and having employee discount. He asked if how much the discount I am getting, and I said NICELY & POLITELY that I couldn’t remember (plus I am busy feeding my kids when he called so why would I bother to check my email history if how much is my discount!!!!).

    And this evil/no manners/no customer service manner at all agent, told me that... “Well, I can give you a 100% discount..” THEN HUNG UP!!!!

    What the F**%#!!!!! Very ill-mannered evil person! Hey, for your information, I didn’t asked you to call me! You were the one who is disturbing me, so you don’t have a bit of any right to be rude to me!!!!!

    Called my business mobile which is for internal use only, they told me they are calling about a gas bill and wouldn’t tell me the name of the company. Once I questioned why they were calling an internal business number they said bye and hung up. Obviously cold calling random mobile numbers could be telemarking or scam. Obvious delay at the beginning and a click so either recording or overseas but using a Bunbury wa land line number.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
