Called looking for one time donations of $25 to supposed people ‘living on the poverty line’ and not able to feed themselves every day. When I said I wasn’t able to help, she hung up without a goodbye or anything while I was in the middle of starting to explain why.
This is a scam, they are purposely saying that it is for your community so they don't have to be precise given that everybody lives in a community or another, too vague to be meaningful! TOTAL SCAM!
I have had this call twice today wish scammers would give up.
I gave to a charity - a particular organisation yesterday, and bingo - today I am getting calls from some random predatory organisation trying to extract more. No thanks, I gave willingly to something of my choosing and will not be paying a third party to take more.
