I was on the Compare the Market website looking at health insurance cover. A call came in from this number which I ignored and then called back. They said that as I put my number in on the website they take that as an ok for them to call explaining its a useful service to help you navigate the website. Note that there is no option but to put your number in to progress on the website (nice trick on their part). When I expressed some annoyance as I was only having a look, she seemed incredulous. Terrible marketing ploy.
