I didn't answer as I didn't know the number and they left a voicemail with an automated voice telling me to call their department back on 9467 2326 because there is an arrest warrant under my name and if I don't call back then they will arrest me. Just for giggles I rang the number back and it hangs up on you the second it connects. Nice one guys! Amused me on this Thursday afternoon.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile - automated voice stating 'Hello this is the Australian ATO...' I hung up and called the number from my work phone. The person answered 'hello' no company or name, I said I had just received a call from this number, what would this be related to, he asked for my name, and number. I requested who he worked for, he said ATO, to which I replied, there is no reason ATO would be calling me and he said ' well then quit wasting my time'.... SCAMMERS.

This number is a scam call. The caller leaves a message stating call a department otherwise you will get arrested. I haven't bothered calling and you should not either. Just ignore this number.

Received an automated call from 08 9467 2326 claiming to be a tax audit. I had a similar call this time last year in which some indian man tried to convinced me he was ATO and I was being audited and I needed to pay money.
I called the junber back and some indian woman answered claiming to be from the ATO. I hung up straight away, didn't even want to amuse myself with an argument.
