Today I had exactly same experience as Strecker with same amount of $900. Call was from mobile 0434009795. Indian type accent. Very insistent/persistent. He sent SMS from "SITEAT" with link to zassist.in/T20. Insisted I click on that. Told him I was on computer and checking if he was legit. Responded with offer to email me the "zassist" link. He also said that they were seeing my IP and there were strange transactions. I use VPN so its BS re the IP. Kept him on line to see what other BS came up with then hung up when got bored.

Scammer sending out sms link for you to click, just hang up.
A caller asked if I had used my card today and informed me of a $900 payment attempt that had been flagged on my account. They then sent an SMS with a link from a suspicious site. I stayed quiet while they pressured me to open the link, and I could hear someone else in the background repeating the same script to other victims.
