I received a call from a call center, and the person had a very heavy accent. They were rambling about a property I do not own, leading me to strongly suspect that this was a scam call.

When this number rang, my phone indicated that it was a scam call so I rejected it, rather than answering.

Upon checking on this website could see that, although it didn't have any history of being a scam caller, there had been lots of searches by other people in the past few days, trying to find out who had called.

It seems that so many more people are not prepared to answer unknown callers, which is not surprising.

Called stating they had gotten my number from a ‘rental database’ and were calling as a ‘government agency’ called ‘Glandore’ in order to do research and assist with offering lower energy and power prices. Had my old family home address and reportedly discovered that I was the ‘primary home owner’. Strongly suspect it was a scam call, and I cannot find a government agency with the same name.

The caller claimed to have obtained my number from a “rental database” and said they were a government agency named “Glandore” seeking to do research and offer lower energy and power prices. They even had my old family home address and referred to me as the “primary home owner.” I suspect this is a scam, as I cannot find any legitimate government agency by that name.
