Have had this number call me twice over past week. First it hung up, then today a voice with Indian accent came on asking for me by name. It seems that a genuine Adelaide number is being spoofed by an Indian scamming call centre. Get fed up with these useless calls purporting to have something to do with solar rebates.
Got a call from this number, they hung up after a few seconds, no answer when I called back; have received calls from this number before with the same thing happening.
Got a call 2 days ago from this number, woman with accent said $4.000.00 solar rebate from the australian gov.... Told them to put an australian on the phone and hung up.....5 mins later same number called didn't answer... Bloke this time.... Helps that my recorded message is just husband saying hello...... Got another call just now, friday night, didn't answer again.
Receive at least two calls a day they ask for me by name and then claim to be ringing about the federal government solar rebate.
