My wife got a call on her mobile, a missed call and she opened up the message, a voice mail, computer generated voice that said she is being investigated for tax fraud and that it has been lodged in court. Tried ringing on the landline and the line rung then went dead and the other number said invalid.

Just had a missed call and voicemail from this number stating they were from the ATO, and the matter was related to fraud.
I called back and a lady in very poor English requested my name and post code to bring up my profile.
I suggested I thought it was a scam.
She angrily told me to go to my local tax office and enquire there.
