Yea, I received a bill for $419! From no where. I guess once you call back they will ask for your bank details. Do not call back!
No bloody point posting a warning here if you're just going to remove it... TWICE in two days.
Same like others. I have received an email supposedly from McAffee saying PayPal will deduct $419.00 from my account for a twelve month subscription, and asking to call this number (+61 8 8009 9344) if you want to cancel the subscription, When you call and ask what this all about they try and convince you to fill out a form to cancel and attempt to take control of your Phone or device, when challenged they hang up. THIS A SCAM DO NOT FOLLOW ANY OF THEIR INSTRUCTIONS.
It's just some loser in India using an Australian VOIP provider to get a local phone number to pretend that he's in Australia – a VOIP provider with a reputaton around the Australian scambaiter community for being scammer-friendly.
This number was linked to an email that appeared to be from McAfee, claiming there was a $400.00 charge on my account and urging me to call within 24 hours to reverse it. When I called, they managed to hack into my computer and stole nearly $5000.

I too received an Email advising that $419.300 was to be charged through Pay Pal for a McAfee update.
Rubbish. I rang the number no answer. Someone rang back and asked me to type details and I hung up. No return call.
I received an email claiming to be from McAfee and PayPal, stating that I am about to be charged for a subscription to their antivirus software. The email instructed me to contact this number to cancel the subscription. I believe this is a scam, as I have never subscribed to McAfee.
This number, given in a very amateurish random spam email, purports to be McAfee antivirus support. It's being answered by someone with a strong Subcontinental accent, and is presumably a lead-in to the usual Indian remote access scam. The number appears to be provided by Symbio Networks, known in the Australian scambaiter community as enablers for Indian scammers to port their phones to an Australian phone number.
