My phone had been acting weird, popping up with notifications of ads of random things like Optus, microsoft, etc. That never happened before, so I don't know if its got anything to do with my accidentally pressing on the ads..

They get your details from entering competitions online. I did so about a month ago and since then they have been harassing me. Don't enter competitions as they sell your details for profit!
