Received a sophisticated scam email from "Norton Symantec" which indicated that they were billing me for $500.

You had to ring 08 7200 0039 to stop the sub. I twigged to it being a scam when they asked me to connect to my phone and I stopped the call.

Reported scam to scam watch.

This number was on a scam email connected to my supposed renewal of a subscription to Norton for 1 year or 2 years, they couldn’t even get that right. Possibly some unsuspecting person in Adelaide has had their number “borrowed” for this. I’ve even had my mobile number used this way, weird when you get a call from you to you. Sadly now the way of scammers today.
