I knew it was a scammer as I have been rung about this before and I have not been involved in a car accident for years. I told her she was a scammer and hung up on her.

They start by asking for your first name and then saying “I have records that you were in an accident and weren’t at fault”. They can’t tell you the date of the “accident”, where it occurred, what vehicles were involved or even the surname of the person they think they’re speaking with.
I call them back every 5 mins or so to clog up their line until they kill the number off. Hopefully it’s worked again.
