    Scam calls and text messages claiming to be from Telstra. Demanding personal details in regard to an order. I've not been with Telstra for 20 years. Text messages about an order and upgrade on my account that I don't have. Don't answer texts and do not answer calls from (08) 7140 1406. Hang up.

    Called following up on high value order from Telstra - I was skeptical based on the feedback here but they were able to quote me exactly what I ordered from Telstra.

    They’ve called me about 6 times in the past few days and left no messages. Finally decided to call back, someone answered the phone saying the company was “tsa cell support” or something along those lines. They were hard to understand. Seems very scammy.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
