I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent who claimed to be from St. George Bank Cyber Security. She informed me that my mobile number was involved in a fraudulent transfer. When I asked her to clarify, she switched her story and claimed to be calling from National Australia Bank for the same issue. I recommend not answering this call and blocking the number, as it was registered from Adelaide, Australia.
I received a call from someone who claimed they were verifying a PayPal transaction for $1,000, supposedly for an individual with an Asian male name. I found the claim so ridiculous that I laughed during the conversation. This is clearly a scam operation.

This is a SCAM! Upon answering, I was met with an automated message that sounded very professional. The message claimed to be from Visa/Mastercard regarding a charge on my credit card, which raised my concerns.
This call came up from Adelaide, I don't know anyone from Adelaide but I do deal with companies that ring out of state hence I answered the call. It was an automated call saying I had $1300 of online shopping and to press 1 to approve or press 2 to reject. I was a little unsure and suspicious with the call that I didn't press any number.
