This caller claimed to be from eBay gift card support. I recognized it as a scam, so I hung up on them! Honestly, these scammers should find legitimate jobs instead of bothering people.
I answered the call, and there was some back-and-forth "hello" conversation between us until the caller abruptly hung up. This felt suspicious and could possibly be a telemarketer or scam.
I received a call from an unknown number, but the caller did not leave a voicemail message.
I answered a call from someone claiming to be from Telstra, stating that someone was trying to interfere with our NBN service. When I jokingly said it was probably him, he abruptly hung up. Clearly another scam!
