This is undoubtedly an active scammer; I have no doubt about it.
A caller informed me that I was downloading malware on my devices. I asked them to send me an email with details on the issue. They claimed, "This can't be fixed over email," to which I responded, "That's okay, just tell me which malware I need to remove." The conversation ended there. This type of call is suspicious and may be part of a scam.
A woman with a strong Indian accent called me claiming to be from Commonwealth Bank. She stated that there was an illegal transaction associated with my account, which seemed suspicious.
Recorded message from PayPal saying there was a suspicious transaction from PayPal and I should press 1 to challenge it, or 2 to authorise it. Knew it was a scam anyway, so pressed 2.
