A caller claiming to be from the Telstra Technical Department contacted me. When I inquired about the purpose of the call, they asked about our internet service. I informed her that we don't use Telstra, and upon expressing my frustration that I interrupted another business call to answer this one, she abruptly hung up.
The caller had a heavy accent and claimed that there was a problem with my Internet service. They attempted to instruct me to log in to an unspecified website.
A heavily accented female caller identified herself as representing Amazon. I suspect this is a scam since the details she provided seemed vague.
This scam caller needs to ensure they have the correct timezone before making calls. They seemed to be operating from an interstate or overseas call center.
The caller, a heavily accented male, claimed he was from "Visa Mastercard." When I asked for the card number, he stated that they "don't disclose card numbers." I pressed for an explanation as to why, and he abruptly hung up, which raises suspicions of a scam.

Scammers: Just called me from “cyber security department” in Canberra. Trying to tell me that my account information had been breached and wanted to walk me through “securing” my account. Although I work in cybersecurity and I know my accounts haven’t been breached and they were reading off of a script. They did know a lot of my personal information so they are quite dangerous.
An individual calling himself a representative from Commonwealth Bank informed me about an international transaction on my account, asking if I wanted to halt it. Recognizing it as a scam, I sarcastically replied that I wanted to allow the transaction to proceed. This visibly confused the caller, who was unable to continue the conversation and eventually hung up after repeatedly saying "okay."
I received a call from someone claiming to be 'Visa Mastercard.' They warned me about an unauthorized transaction that was about to occur on my card and urged me to press 1 if I wanted to stop it. I hung up immediately.
