I just had a call from 08 7079 8436 stating I had been in a vehicle accident. When these people call NEVER use the word YES to any question as they can record that and use it to engage in contracts in your name.
Received call from unfamiliar number. Answered it and waited for the caller to speak. After maybe 10 seconds of silence I asked Hello? After maybe 2 seconds delay an accented voice asked Hello? Since the person didn't seem forthcoming with the subject of the call I suspected a scam call and hung up. Checking the number here confirms that suspicion was correct.
They knew my name and said they were ringing in relation to a car accident I had in the last 12 months - or someone in my family,.. and that I was entitled to compensation and they would help me get it. Scammers! Wouldn’t tell me who was calling or how they got my details. There has not been an accident at all.

This is a scam number. Fraudulent insurance. They ring and hang up so is a missed call. When call back a recording gives a list of insurance claims options to choose from. The usual suspects but a recording this time.
I received a call from this number and they had my name and were claiming I had a road accident in the last 24 hours that wasn’t my fault. I’ve had no accident and have been home for most of the last 24hours. Just hang up on these scammers.
