Just had a scam call from this number. Tried to say I was in an accident then tried to say I must have had a family member or someone I know in an accident.
From a "claim company". When asked which one, they only said "third party" and that it was about a traffic accident that I was involved in. Knew my name but also claimed it was in Adelaide, where I haven't been for 9 months and I have never had a traffic accident. Obvious scam.
Scam! Apparently I was involved in a car accident but can be awarded some money (or something crap like that) and if I give them my details they’ll tell me how I can claim my cash. They didn’t know my details or my name. Hmmm funny that if I was eligible for money and had lodged a claim for reimbursement from a car accident, surely they would have my details? Tried to tell me it wasn’t a scam. Yeah right, buddy.
