Got the landline call about 1hr 45mins ago, I didn't recognise the number, I knew it was from Adelaide but was about to go for a drive so I let it ring out. A few minutes later I received a call from a mobile number 0483883040 and also let that go to voice mail.
WHen I checked the messages they started off with: cents will be debited from your account... Then I just deleted it.
SCAM. This was quickly off the back of another call that I stupidly answered but gave no info to. Must have thought this is a real number so let's keep going.
This time I left unanswered and got a message starting "Cents the same will be debited from your account automatically...." etc. etc.
BLOCK and do not answer these calls. Just leads to more.
(08)70777429 called me purporting to be eBay confirming a large eBay purchase, I hung up but this is a scam. No purchase by me has been made and the number should be blocked.
