I answered a call from a woman who sounded Indian, claiming to be from Telstra in Melbourne. She insisted that my internet connection was insecure and had been compromised by a hacker overseas. I explained that my internet was functioning normally, but she repeatedly claimed it was at risk. When I pressed her on what actions she would take to resolve this issue, she abruptly hung up.
This number did not leave a message, but after researching it, I discovered that it is masquerading as Telstra, PayPal, Visa, and Cybercrime Australia. I promptly reported it to Scam Watch Australia and blocked the number. I have little tolerance for fraudsters!

I was alerted by a recorded voice message with a British accent starting with 'Dear Customer,' warning me that an unsolicited withdrawal of $900.00 was about to be made from my Mastercard/Visa, accounts which I do not even use.
Received a call from this number featuring an automated voice recording that falsely claimed there was a charge to my PayPal account.
This call was supposedly from PayPal, claiming that there was an issue with a significant amount of money, around $700. I couldn't listen to the entire message, as I felt it was suspicious and hung up before getting more details.
Be WARNED this is a scammer - a lot of calls from a scammer (Benjamin Smith) who identified as a representative of the credit card section of my bank, telling me that there had been a problem with my accounts & wanted me to transfer money between my accounts. He used these numbers 07 3167 6973 @ 1610 – 07 3305 1955 @ 1702 – 08 7092 6092 @ 1712 – 08 6388 0940 @ 1713, they are plain vermin.
