A caller, claiming to be from 'Telstra', contacted me and had a noticeable foreign accent. They stated there had been excessive use of my internet. I believe this is a total scam and do not trust the legitimacy of the call.
I received a call from someone claiming to be from eBay who indicated they were conducting a verification concerning a gift card purchase I allegedly made. I ended the call because they could not provide any credible confirmation of their identity. I have significant doubts about the legitimacy of this caller, especially since they seemed hesitant to allow me to discuss the incident with my IT technician.
I had a call from this number at 1:18 pm 30-Sep-2023. The number is not in my contact list and a message was not left so the call was ignored. My phone displayed it as a Potential Fraud. I blocked the number.
