I personally enjoy messing with these aholes, I keep them on phone as long as possible and then give them totally false bank account details and name etc they get so excited thinking they've scored a win, but by keeping them on the phone on speaker while I just go about my usual activities I am keeping them from making another 20 phone calls and potentially scamming an unsuspecting elderly pensioner of their last $50.
Caller left Voicemail saying National Broadband Network about to be disconnected. Requested I hold line so call could be transferred.
Called, no message. Scam.
Called to ask about suspicious activity on my bank account but couldn’t tell me which one.
Scam. Called twice. Don't these tools know we all use automatic unknown caller blocking.
Automated scam call. Advised me of some sort of Federal Offense.
Prime Amazon automated call about subscription, identified straight away it was a scam so I held on to speak with a operator, wanted to check my credit card details so I put her on hold for about 10 minutes while I told here ill have to find it, came back was still there, gave her the card number as slow as possible 1 2 3 4 5 6 etc Actually got about half way through before they realized and hung up.
Called up saying they were from Telstra and that there was illegal activity on my IP address.
Scamming indian twats as usual - just block.
Becareful. Scam phone. Don't pick up. Reject all random strange no calls from now on of they don't leave message.
Claim s to be final notice for federal criminal offence.
Scam - saying that the is a purchase on eBay for approx $300+ dollars, if not you etc etc --- I block all these numbers.
Scam, say they are from internet provided and they will disconnect internet service - BEWARE!
Scam phone number say they are from Amazon, losers .
Starts with recorded voice saying landline and internet connection will cut off and to wait for representative to help. Diverts to overseas call centre. As we don't use National Broadband Network or have a landline it is not relevant to us and they hung up.
Computer generated voice warning you that you've committed a federal offence. Obvious scam, do not answer or call back. What are the Authorities doing about this?
