I received a call from what appeared to be an Indian male, who claimed my phone number won a prize. He could not confirm my name, so I decided to hang up. The call originated from a number in Western Australia.

A woman with a foreign accent claimed to represent a telephone company, but I couldn't catch the name due to the noise in the background. She said I had won a new phone, which immediately raised my suspicion, so I told her it sounded like a scam. She insisted that it was not a scam, but I decided to hang up as it felt too suspicious.

I received a call from a mobile number that showed it was based in Perth. Since I don’t know anyone there, I didn’t answer, and no voicemail was left. I plan to block this number, as I believe it might be a scam based on others' reports.

Scam caller trying to sell you a Blackview A20 Pro android phone saying it's this and that and all bells and whistles. They are going to sell it to me for half price, I can pay as much as I want when I can and whatever. The phone is old, came out in 2018 and when you start telling them all about it (thanks Google), all of a sudden it's a different phone they want to sell you. They get cross and hang up after you wasted 15 minutes of their time. Oh my heart bleeds for them.

This was a scam call from someone pretending to be from a phone company. When I asked for clarification on where they were calling from, the caller hung up on me. I could hear multiple voices speaking a foreign language in the background, and when I requested them to repeat their name and company, the lady was quite rude.

I suspect this call was an attempted scam. The caller became frustrated and hung up while I was jokingly trying to sell them miniature tacos, which was a weird interaction.

This is definitely a scam call. They falsely claim that you've won a phone and then demand your personal information. If you refuse to give them your name or bank details, they insult you and continue calling repeatedly until you block them.
