The caller informed me about a transaction of $1,xxx made with my card, but I could tell it was a scam attempt. I do not recognize this number or the transaction mentioned.
The caller contacted me, but I missed the first call. When they called back immediately and I answered, they hung up right away. I chose to block this number for safety reasons.
I received an automated call stating it was from the Commonwealth Bank, alerting me about a transaction made on my debit card. The message instructed me to press 1 if I didn’t authorize it. However, I found this suspicious since I don’t have a debit card at all.
Called me twice and didn't speak. I rang them back but no answer, user busy. It must be those Nigerian Prince Scammers spoofing Australian number.
I got a recorded message saying that a transaction of $1299 was made on my debit card and that I should press 1 if I did not authorize it. However, I do not even possess a debit card, indicating it was a scam attempt.
