This number called me six times over the past few days before I finally decided to block them. Reports suggest it’s a scammer.
Scam.
The caller introduced himself by saying, "Hello, I am calling about your Visa Mastercard payment," which leads me to believe this is a scam.
I answered a call from someone identifying themselves as Harry Wilson, who told me about a transaction on my account. I suspect this is an Indian scammer.
An Indian male identified himself as being from Visa and claimed that there was a $1000 transaction charged to my account. I firmly told him to leave me alone, calling him a scammer, which prompted him to hang up quickly.
My phone rang, displaying the message "Potential Fraud Scam". After noticing this call, I have now blocked the number on my phone and through Kaspersky. This incident marks about the ninth fraud or scam call I have received, and the number appears to be from Perth in Western Australia.
