Scam

An Indian caller claimed to be from Australia Post. They asked if I was expecting a package from them and went on to say there was a parcel under my name that contained bank cards and statements. I recognized this as a scam and told the caller that I was aware of their intentions, after which they quickly hung up.

A person with a thick Indian accent called from a noisy call center asking me if I made a transaction for $1200 last night using a VISA card. Since I do not even own a VISA card, I immediately recognized this as a scam and was offensive in my reply.

Scam

The caller claimed to be "Brenda from the ANZ bank," but it is clearly a scam. I'm tired of receiving these calls, and it seems everyone should recognize these bank scam attempts by now. It would be great if we could trace these numbers, block them, and shut them down entirely.
