This number rang me pretending to be about my neighbour but it’s just dodgy as hell. Definitely a scam!
I just received a call from 08 6214 2459, followed by a text from a mobile number. The lady on the line was all over the place, never sounded professional. She called me by my first name and asked me to tell ‘Jade’ to get in touch. To be honest, I haven’t a clue who Jade is!
Missed their call, and then got a weird message saying, "Hey (my name), contact Jeovelyn about Alexandria." No clue who Alexandria is, but a quick look up made me think this smells fishy. Better to be safe than sorry, right?
Despite blocking their numbers, these people keep calling me and refuse to identify themselves. They've also contacted my family members. My dad, who works for a government agency, looked into them and confirmed that they are definitely scammers.
