I routinely screen dickheads like this... I don't recognise the number and no message left means no answer. Based on some of the response here, this approach seems to be the best approach.

Apparently Jerry Pedro is from ANZ and said my ANZ account had $800 transferred out of it to a company in America - did I authorise this? "definitely not" so Pedro wanted to know what phone I had and I needed to go into my browser to type in some details - this is when I asked for his names, and contact number so I could call him back - he said he was calling from a call centre & they don't have a phone # to dial through to, so I said 'that's ok, ill call ANZ direct and ask them to verify that Jerry Pedro works for them' Jerry was not happy, so I hung up on him. He had a very distinctive Indian accent & he was calling from 08 6186 7595 - obviously has too much time on his hands to think he can SCAM people - what a jerk!!!!
