Scam -female pretending to be from eBay and saying a gift card had been authorised from eBay. Sounded very convincing. She wanted me to check my IP address on the phone and log into my account. Did not do this though she had my name. Put me on to a supervisor (herself) who changed her name when I requested it. She became very aggessive. This is a scam by theives.
Major scam. Let the call ring out, then called the number back. A pre-recorded message said due to technical difficulties, this number can't be called.
Caller claimed to be from Visa and Mastercard Department, said I owed $1200, hung up when I joked about his voice

Scam call, he said he is from Telstra and can offer 30% discount on my bill, told him I am not even with Telstra, he hanged up on me.
Receive a call today from this number. Said they were from Optus and claimed that they had a half price special for loyal customers. Became suspicious immediately. Wanted further details, DOB drivers licence details etc. Told her that I thought it was a scam and put me onto a "supervisor". I told him the same and hung up. Both sounded very convincing.
