This number is associated with a fraudulent McAfee email scam. It is the fifth different number I have received in a flood of scam emails throughout September 2023, all trying to deceive users.
I received a suspicious email that pretended to be from McAfee, claiming I owed $317.00 for a subscription renewal. This number was provided as the contact to cancel the supposed order, which indicates it's likely a scam.
Got a call did not answer it. Voice mail left was " If you do not call this number you will be arrested".
Got a call that played a recording saying it was the ATO and a law suit had been filed in my name. And I had to contact a number or a warrant would be issued for my arrest.
Scam. Robot voice pretending to be ato saying investigating me for tax fraud. Police should be on this.
Hoax calls and automated voice messages from this number advising they'll issue an arrest warrant if I don't call back.
