A caller said that my details were linked to a fraudulent company that has since been shut down, and that my information was leaked seven years ago. I listened for a while before telling her to stop.
A caller attempted to tell me that I had $750 in stocks that I could either cash out or reinvest. I have never invested in stocks before. I confronted the caller and told him he was not telling the truth. He casually replied, “Ok sir, your loss,” before hanging up. This is a significant scam!
