I decided to call them back and ask them whether this was the Scam line? They said I was wrong and hung up.
I called them back again and they hung up without saying anything.
I then called them back using my land line and they picked up asking for my name, I gave them a fake name and they hung up.
I then called them back again using my office line and then found out that the number has been disconnected. XD.
My advice, call them back to waste their time~! The more time they spent with us the least likely they can scam someone gullible!

Scam - when you answer the call, it is a pre-recorded voice message in an American accent claiming to be from the Commonwealth Office of Prosecutions. I didn't even bother listening to the rest as I've had similar scams claiming to be related to ATO.
I just received a phone call with a robotic voice saying this is the ATO. I then called the number and a Filipino gentleman answered with hello. I called again and when I asked he said he is the ATO. I told him what I thought of scammers in a not so nice manner.
Scam for sure, Indian with average diction answered my return call, did not talk but I hung up straight away, he did not leave a voice mail message in his call, always a sure give away.
I received a call from this number and they used an automated response recording. They are demanding a return call.... And threatening that if you don't you will have police and the ATo visiting you.... Another scam.
Its disappointing the police or telecommunications providers don't shut this type of marketing down.
