I have just received a phone call from, the above number, Claiming to be RACQ asking if I was in a car accident 2 months ago. I said no and blocked the number.
This peter fella got me a year ago for 1K, he provided his drivers licence and his sisters so I thought it was legit, I picked up his accent and he told me he was POLISH, the bank account I deposited money into was a money card account that westpac provide and you can pick one up anywhere and load funds into it. I got onto the bank and they told me the money had been withdrawn from an ATM in central Sydney about 5 minutes after I put the money in there. I reported this to OLD police and the cyber fraud department but nothing has happened since. There are too many of these shitheads out there praying on the trustworthy people. I was lucky I only lost 1K, it was very close to being 20K. All I can say is be careful when you purchase through e bay, and if the seller asks you to by pass pay pall, tell them to get stuffed its a scam.
