So I called the number, the person on the other end didn't do identification checks and when I went to log into my PayPal account I realised I had deleted the account a while ago as none of my emails were connected. I realised I was being scammed when the guy on the phone wanted me to download a remote desktop control app onto my phone. Instantly hung up. He tried to call another five times before giving up, I'll probably get calls tomorrow.
