Just had a ring from this number today at 2:06pm. Didn't bother answering cause I had a feeling it stunk of scam. Blocked the number straight away. Better safe than sorry, right?

I just got a call from the same number and said the same eBay story as everyone else and would not give me any information. As soon as I said I was a Police Officer they hung up straight away.
Saying I have a purchase of $299 From eBay, and press 1 to find stop purchase. Fully SCAMMING.

Scam number claiming to be debiting an amount of money from my account.
Assume spoof number; scam call @12:54 (utc+8) recording saying about a debit for an eBay purchase; pure rubbish did not call back.
This is a scam.
The incoming call said goods had been dispatched and $299.99 would be debited from my account.
My return call was answered by a male with an Australian / Asian accent who claimed to be from e-Bay customer service.
Pity there are no health orders out on this guy so that the Police or Border Force could do something useful.
