Computer crashed on 21st May 2017 with message on screen saying that it had been corrupted. Further message on screen saying to contact Techget Online on phone 07 5551 5925 (Australia). Paid them $499.98 USD to fix computer and was harassed into paying a further $500 USD for twelve month "support". Next day I rang back to cancel the support and requested a refund of $500USD. After many phone calls, eventually got the refund, which confirms that there is no continuing contract with them with no further monies to be paid. Unfortunately, they started calling me again on 5 May 2018 using phone 0187 4365 8734 stating that I owed them money and if I didn't pay they would bring in debt collectors. They gave me a further phone number to contact them 1800 219 541 (Australia) and have been harassing me for six days. Contact gave his name as “Peter Hall” with supervisor as “Christopher Baite” – now apparently known as Christopher Jones Baite. Techget Online website is no longer in existence and no information is available regarding the company or individual details. Their aim is to intimidate people to pay for services that have not been contracted, nor are being provided.
