Say they are from Telstra and there is a problem with my IP number, managed to draw the call out for about 15 minutes but I have had the same thing before, they try and get you to install a teams viewer so they can take over your computer.
What’s with these calls, I’m getting up to 10 day, how many numbers can I possibly block. I’ve called back and someone’s replied saying that they didn’t call me.
Called today about debit card transaction of $900. When I told her to cut all the chat and how about I just ‘give you my bank account details now so you can steal my money) ? she was abusive and hung up.
Said with a very heavy indian accent his name was Robert and I had a virus on my device but after I constantly asked which device interrupting his script reading he hung up. I carry an umpires whistle with me now and when I work out it's a scammer I blow it and the sound trust me will hurt their ears.
Called whilst I was asleep, at 10:45 pm!! I didn’t answer and no message was left. Tried calling the number at 5:30 am next morning and got nothing. Blocked this number.
