The Scam Unveiled
Based on reports, 07 5369 8501 / 0753698501 claims to represent Telstra, incorrectly informing users that their internet security has been hacked or compromised. The caller attempts to instil a sense of urgency, convincing victims that immediate action is necessary. They often transition calls to a supposed supervisor, further enhancing the deceitful narrative.
Why This Number Is Classified As a Scam
- False Association: The callers claimed to be from Telstra; however, a call to Telstra’s official number debunks this association.

What Our Users Reviewed
07 5369 8501 call received twice within a week. Telling me that my internet security is compromised, hacked, not save and that they are from Telstra here to help me. Played the game and asked to speak to supervisor and was transferred to another person. Asked that they send me an Email to verify that they are from Telstra and was told that this can't be done for security reasons. I said to them point blank that they are not from Telstra, there was only the slightest hint of hesitation before the reply came of course they are. They then gave me a number 03 9107 5000 to ring to verify that they are from Telstra. This number has a prerecorded message from Telstra, so no one to talk to. But when you ring Telstra on 132200 they tell you that neither number is connected to the Telstra business. SCAM !!!!
